Perfect Pitch Test Online

A perfect pitch test asks whether you can identify a note without first hearing a reference pitch. Pitch Practice plays a note in your browser, lets you choose the pitch name, then shows the answer so you can measure accuracy over time.

How the test works

1. Hear a note from piano, guitar, synth, bass, or bell. 2. Guess the note name from the answer buttons. 3. See the correct note and track your accuracy.

What counts as perfect pitch?

Perfect pitch, or absolute pitch, means naming notes directly. In a test setting, you should avoid using another note as a reference. If you need to sing intervals or compare against a known pitch, you are using relative pitch instead.

Make the test harder over time

Start with natural notes if you are new to note recognition. Add accidentals when the basics feel stable, then use shuffle mode so the same pitch appears through different instrument tones.
